Syracuse rolling Oregon is baddd news for us. Syracuse stinks.
Don’t think it matters a ton. Even if Oregon is mediocre this year, road loss there isn’t going to hurt Michigan much.
Oh yea, meant more so in our outlook than our resume .
Ahhhh, it’s very hard to draw parallels like that with the transitive property that are particularly meaningful.
Best hope is the Oregon game is the point where we say that Michigan’s defense bottomed out.
Definitely don’t think it is some “look how well Michigan played in this spot and what it says about them” moment.

My assumption is that kids who pick USC often but not always pick it for things other than the prospective strength of the team.

Now that you say it, I remember that, but USC is also generally very “well funded”, in Southern California (which kids like) and surrounded by a fair number of celebrities (like Lebron this year)

Awful news.
Just listened to an entire Florida podcast, and the host closed it out with an anti-Todd Golden, pro-Mike White rant. @BigBoutros might have fell off his chair.
To be fair, it was from the host who knew less ball. Reference plus minus multiple times, call Will Tschetter a poor offensive player, and hype up Mike White = three strikes?
