I’m guessing that losing to D2 teams wasn’t in the recruiting pitch.
Hunter and Taris are completely different style players. The Michigan offense ran through Hunter giving him multiple passing chances (btw last year HD averaged 1.5 asst and 2 turnovers) wheras the role Taris will play (rebound, play defense, steal, 2nd chance points) will be completely different.

Going to go ahead and put my money down on him being back by Thanksgiving and this just being a bit for Tang to praise himself as such a strict disciplinarian.
