Coach Cal is getting $8 mil per with $7 mil of NIL commitment. Michigan wasn’t ever gonna give him that.

I will always believe the school has big time allure. Im still suffering from PTSD with Warde not making it work with an extension with Harbaugh. Maybe he always wanted to get back but we won’t know. I admit that i was apprehensive waiting to hire a coach but obviously Cal was out there. Warde just isn’t good at his job. This seems like another Pitino/Amaker scenario.

Jim would have left earlier if he had the opportunity. Beilein and Jim not being retained are not real criticisms. Both left for what 99% of coaches would exit for if offered the same.

I think being mad at Warde for not getting Cal is crazy. We beat out Louisville, Vanderbilt and others for May who by all accounts was the hottest name on the market

Calipari gets to set his roster every year using the 2K roster editor and over the past 7 years he’s produced two top 15 teams and 6 NCAAT wins. Worth pointing out.
