Kind of get that would have made a lot more sense with Hunter than without Hunter IMO.

Not sure where this should go but potentially some ramifications for this. Will more of your second and third tier stars start going the G League route if they know they can stay and develop? Will be interesting to see if it changes much or if NIL keeps those guys going the college route.

An Ike/Nembhard pairing feels good enough to dominate the WCC but not good enough to make me thing this will be the Gonzaga team that gets back to the Final Four.

Yeah I’m super meh on Ike for Gonzaga. He’s a solid player but that’s a massive step down from Timme, and not like they’re getting way better at any other spots. And it’s not improving their defense

I do think he’s really really good, and will be incredibly productive in that system at that level.

So Tommy Lloyd took all the heat for Nembhard entering, but he’s going to end up at Gonzaga like his brother?

He can’t be worse on D than Timme, can he? Mark Few has to do something to get better on that end. Coming off of his worst AdjD since 2007.

Lol he still has eligibility?

Maybe we can get another chance at Colin Smith?

The rumor Du Jour is Udoka to Toronto, Nurse to Houston, stack still eating nashville hot chickens

Seems like Pistons are looking at assistants on good teams (Charles Lee from Milwaukee, Chris Quinn from Miami. The Budenholzer coaching tree is pretty good (Quinn Snyder, Kenny Atkinson, Taylor Jenkins, Darvin Ham))

Correct, I’m sure Arizona fans are taking it well.

Like brother like brother

Believe it or not he still has two years of eligibility.

His COVID year from 2021 plus a medical redshirt in 2022.

At this point he probably can’t do anything other than shoot, but he’s definitely elite at it. I imagine if he tried to do anything else (dribble, play D) he’d probably disintegrate on the spot.

It’s the Popovich coaching tree, correct?
