I mean they will be the favorite. Means they still only have like a 15-20% chance of winning it. I hope they do it

Iā€™ve picked the Zags in my bracket too many times. Just donā€™t want to not pick them the one year they actually pull it off

Wasnā€™t Michigan the 2nd in his list when he committed to Zags? I remembered JB went after him hard coming out of HS.

Michigan recruited him, but I actually think MSU was more of a contender. He visited MSU, but I donā€™t think he ever went to Michigan

I donā€™t know if we were second but @Slyboogie was a huge fan

Tom Crean is out

I feel like Crean was a decent color guy for ESPN, but maybe Iā€™m remembering incorrectly. Maybe he just sticks in the booth. I thought he would at least have decent teams at Georgia. Surprised it was so bad.

Crean is not necessarily good or bad in the booth, but MEMORABLE. Sometimes as awkward as humanly possible, at other times very insightful. I recall an ode to the strength of Zavier Simpsonā€™s hands based on when Crean was recruiting him. Iā€™d love to have him calling games over Crispin or Bardo.

Iā€™ve heard that Dennis Gates is the likely replacement here

Thatā€™s a decent hire. Heā€™s deserving of a better job. FSU recruited Georgia well while he was there. Uphill battle there regardless

Followed up last seasonā€™s success with another regular season title this year. Isnā€™t going to get in the tournament this year, but I think heā€™s a very good hire if heā€™s the one.

Iā€™m watching Pitt-BC because reasons and itā€™s really jarring to watch a game and not have the ****ing ā€œmoney danceā€ commercial every five minutes.

Iā€™m very glad he appears to have had a successful surgery. Iā€™d like him a little more when he stops calling games, and a whole lot more when he keeps to himself headscratchers like believing Rick Pitino deserves a third chance.

Vitaleā€™s incredible enthusiasm and energy and endorsement are great for the sport and for cancer research. His actual value to a broadcast or analysis of a game has reduced to the point where I donā€™t need to see him as a PBP guy any more. Then againā€¦Iā€™d still take him over Crispin and probably Bardo.

Super weird situation in the ASUN title game on ESPN2 right now between Belarmine and Jacksonville. Belarmine is ineligible for the NCAA as they recently moved up from D2.

So if Jacksonville wins, they go to the tourney. If Belarmine wins, then regular season champ Jacksonville State goes.

And neither of those should be confused with Jackson State, the HBCU where Deion Sanders and his amputated toes coach
