To be fair, Jacob Young the player was always better than Jacob Young the teammate from what I gathered. The fact that his Oregon team has struggled to fit together so much doesn’t really feel like a coincidence.

Yeah I have no ide what this team would be like with Jacob Young, though I was one of the few who were not totally against the idea. He’s not really a pure PG, and he can’t shoot 3s much better than Davante, though he certainly gets more of them up. He’d be a defensive upgrade probably.
Right now it seems like the “Jacob Young explodes in either direction” would be something this team could use to some degree. Feel like this team needs more “dog” in them and I think he would bring plenty of that. His on ball defense I would have to imagine would be a huge benefit. How that would play out with chemistry and such over the course of 5 months though…no idea.
Yeah, I was always into Young on paper as an add but eventually heard some stuff from the Rutgers side of things that made me pretty OK with the fact that he was going elsewhere.

Not sure our team has great chemistry this year as it is. Hard to know, but when the whole is less than the sum of its parts to such an extent, it’s a thing to wonder about.
Plus we’ve seen HD and Eli be fairly vocal about some of the new guys needing to fit in…I’m wondering what it’d be like with Young.
That’s what I was referring to. Wondering if there are tensions. Also notable in the context that we’ve heard quite a few different folks out there in the wider media environment expressing the idea that HD himself isn’t as Big Dickinson Energy as he was last year.

My son was trying to teach me how to understand sites like this and NET, NCAA’s ranking. I tried, but you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. I get that they make wins and losses not matter, only margin of victory, but all the other stats are beyond me. I told him I’ll just use them without understanding them!

Oregon does this every year it seems. Maybe not quite to this extent though
Altman finds his groove beating 2 top 5 teams on the road in 48 hours. Seemingly he does this a lot. He’s won 700 games as coach only 63 does he get into the basketball HOF?? Or because he’s done it at Creighton and Oregon he gets overlooked?? Not including KState and Marshall.
