They really beat Florida by 20
what did I tell you about Mike White
His EYBL performance plus combine results I think ended that. No one has really had to talk about it since heâs not eligible for the next draft so it hasnât really come up in the conversation.
Virginia is a long way from them owning the ACC and in just a few short years too. What has happened to them?
Syracuse basketball is such a perfectly mirthless reflection of its head coach. Truly revolting content
I canât stand watching them. Girardâs haircut/facial hair combo is too much for me
Uhh is Villanova trying to make history with 3-Point attempts in one game
Hilarious to me that Boeheim basically chose to sabotage his (in)famous defense by putting his sons on the team and thus having a team that is not at all fit for the zone whatsoever
At least his kids are legit D1 starters. Agree they arenât a great fit for the zone, but they are better than most of what Boeheim has landed recruiting.
In our broadcast tonight they said 20 D1 coaches had a son on the team. We know Michigan, Syracuse, Nebraska, and Iowa are among them. Is Izzo Jr. Still on MSU?
As with Hoiberg and Nebraska, maybe it just really is true that former NBA players just donât quite cut it as college coaches.
Talent retention has been an issue. Quincy Guerrier and Kadary Richmond transferred and Alan Griffin went to the G League. Marek Dolezaj went to play in the Ukraine instead of using his extra year.
I imagine the prospect of sharing a court with three Boeheim kids (Joe Girard counts) was a factor.
On the topic of coachâs sons and honorary sons I hope everyone is ready for Jack McCaffrey and Luke Wieskamp in a few years.
As mentioned above, the McCaffery brothers at Iowa. Doesnât Brad Underwoodâs son play at Illinois?
Baldwin, Steven Izzo, McCafferys, Iâm sure there are a lot at mid-major levels too.
Yaklichâs at UIC
Baldwin at Milwaukee is a notable one this year
How much money did Patrick Baldwin Sr. cost his family by having his son come play for him?
