The whole Isaiah Livers defense on the wing thing… Something I’m very curious about heading into this season. I feel like a lot of people are taking it for granted as an assumption.

Yeah I see what you’re saying there. In college C’s can dominate games a little more than in the NBA.
But also I’d also say I think you’re selling Ruevers short in describing him as a roll guy that can block some shots. A guy in the NBA that can make almost 40% from 3 and be an elite rim defender is extremely valuable. I guess it also depends on Reuvers ability to defend PnRs and perimeter players, which from only watching him a few times it does seem like he has very good lateral quickness for his size.
I don’t think Livers has a scarcer skillset unless he adds some type of passing or creation ability.
I expect Eastern to be the best offensive rebounding guard in the conference. Whether that will make him a plus offensive player, I have no idea.
