I like to think that between here, Torvik, KenPom, and other CBB resources, I’m pretty knowledgeable about Big Ten rosters…but seriously, I have never heard of any of those guys. I assume it’s another transfer-heavy roster in Minneapolis this season.

Garcia and Battle didn’t play, but yeah I’m not sure I know much about anyone other than Cooper and Thompson.

Yeah, those are the only two guys I know on Minnesota’s roster (and of course they, too, are transfers).
EDIT: Actually, looks like they have a bunch of freshmen this season.
These guys are generally pretty solid.
They have Michigan 6th in the Big 10, but if you look at the projected W/L record gap between 2nd (11.9 conference wins) and 6th (11.2 wins), hard to see the verdict here as anything but a shoulder shrug.

Yeah and KP and BT have pretty much the same muddy waters
Kenpom also has Michigan at 19-11 but 12-8 in conference

Edey looks in fantastic shape. Might be the best player in the conference.
I tend to agree with this - if he can play 30+ minutes. Otherwise, he might be the most dominant but not the most valuable. (I don’t know how to define “best”, so not trying to put words in your mouth).
