I know nothing about Antoine Davis - where would the board rank him among college PGs in the state of Michigan?
he is the best
Do you want your PG to pass? Or set the scoring record?
itâs called point guard not pass guard
He would certainly be the best bucket getter in the state. He is more about shooting than passing but he also has a terrible supporting cast. He does remind me of Kemba Walker thoughâŚ
If he had an interest in playing winning basketball #1. As of now, #3 at best.
Who wants a stat with ass in it?
Is this award sponsored by ESPN? How else can we explain so many ACC/SEC players but no B10 players? /s
Iâm sensing a pattern here.
Unfortunately Iâm guessing we wonât get a highlight clip like this from Michiganâs scrimmage. Too bad. Missed opportunity to jump to conclusions.
Itâs really going to grind me when FSU puts stuff out but we dont
You guys are really refining the art of extreme advance negativity there; hats off!
I donât even think many people would jump to conclusions. Juwan has Michigan locked up tighter than Lloyd did for Michigan football. At least back almost 20 years ago facebook wasnât at itâs peak, there wasnât twitter/instagram etcâŚBTN features Wisconsin and their trip to France and shows highlights and game clips during their trip. Maybe Juwan thinks nobody really cares or he thinks something can be gained from opponents but itâs pretty boring overall.
Might be a failure to take advantage of all of the emerging modes of content delivery. Or it might be a conscious effort to eliminate some of the energy-sapping, easily misconstrued fluff. Iâd be okay with the latter, though youâd want to consider whether it (really) could hurt you with the kids. (Or ask: Will this build our fanbase, or just reach the same smaller pile of avid fans?)
As with many of these issues that rankle or interest onlookers, it would be nice to just ask Juwan. My hunch is that his kids probably keep him in the loop, that between his staff and a strong Michigan media department, etc., heâs not missing a lot.
I think Juwan is simply of the mindset that he doesnât want his opponents to ever gain a piece of information that they can use to their advantage during competition. (Belichick school of handling the media).
Not saying I agree, but we just know by now that heâs not going to give up anything he doesnât have to (in any context).
I get that and there is a fine line but for instance Hunter is doing a podcast for Barstool this year. Obviously NIL ramifications but i guess if i saw one player enjoying all these perks maybe things shouldnât be locked up like this.
I want Michiganâs PG to be Allen Iverson. 23 PPG, 4.6 APG, and 3.2 SPG averages over two years. Not that big of an ask.
