Looks like Shrewsbury has a ton of ties in Indiana based on his resume. Howâs the talent pool there nowadays?
Maybe fringe top 10, but it seems like a really competitive place to recruit with IU, Purdue and in general the Big Ten teams sniffing around. They have a basketball factory in La Lumiere (Jaden Ivey, Tyger Campbell, Jordan Poole, etc.) but their top guys seem to go out of state.
Not an easy job but the ND brand is strong.
Nice that we wonât have to deal with him anymore lol.
I like the lie thrown in there at the end.
I donât love this outcome for M, I think Shrews is elite and ND is a sleeping giant in a dog water ACC
Not a huge deal I guess, a little recruiting overlap but I just donât wish success for ND
Yeah no kidding!
Who was the last recruit that UM and Purdue went h2h for? Demetrius Jackson? Seems a bigger issue for Purdue.
Hunter Dickinson?
Fair enough! Forgot about that one.
Fletcher wasnât really into Michigan i take it?
Might be literally true - they werenât talking to him directly ⌠just his agent.
Okay, there are a handful. Either way itâs not like football where it seems thereâs a ton of overlap. Especially under Juwan.
Langel probably the betting favorite?
What about Ryan Odom?
He impressed me; it will be interesting to see what he can do at ND. Could be the right moment for the right guy to makes some waves in the ACCâlots of flux in a league where a couple of teams long dominated. But. . . who knows how long NDâs in the ACC?
I would be interested to see how much money Shrews is getting paid unless ND wanted to do just long term. Freeman gets close to 5 at football so I doubt Shrews would approach that. Brey by the looks of it maxed out at around 2.5.
Disappointing they couldnât pony up the cash.
Read this too fast and combined the last 2 names into Dusty Rhodes (old professional wrestler). I donât think heâd be a good basketball coach
