I know that typically gains the attention of high major schools but conference tournament performance is an overrated metric. Sometimes teams get hot or cold and that’s that.
Three straight conference titles and a .842 winning % in conference play during that span is better than a lot of coaches that move up each offseason. MAC is better than a majority of mid major conferences as well.

For some bizarre reason I would like to see UM play Toledo if for no other reason to see if we can do what we couldn’t in the non-con and that is put away a MAC team. (Yes, low bar and all.) If we can, fine; you always want to play better and improve. If not, well, as the Big Tuna said, we are what our record says.

Feels like an important game for Purdue. Even though they’re regular season champs, they didn’t finish the season well and got swept by IU. To lose this one also would leave a pretty sour taste in their mouths. But if they win, the slump gets (mostly) forgotten.

These refs have been kind of cheesy lately but Purdue looks amazing.
Amazing d and their offense looks great. They aren’t hitting 3’s but they are getting whatever they want.
Purdue has a ton of rock solid depth. Lots of guys who can take turns chipping in 6-10. Feels like state should be able to draw some charges on edey.
State is totally out of rhythm though. They’re finished
