Could you possibly be any more narcissistic?

Wow I thought that was a sarcastic comment. He actually said that :joy: That is wildly inappropriate

OMG…he said that?!? I thought it was just a joke. That’s insane. That guy is one of the biggest narcissists I have ever seen.

I’m fascinated by this. XJ played 10 games already and it shouldn’t be doable to get that waiver given that number.

Hopefully it holds them up in the portal and they’re stuck with Gabe Cupps starting for them.

I would guess since Xavier is in his COVID year already he has next to no chance of getting a medical hardship waiver. I think there’s some precedence for that?

Am I the only one who is surprised penn st fell so much?

It felt like in both our match ups they were a solid tourney team.

I remember thinking it took our best shot to just escape them at home and had little confidence in the road matchup.

They scared me more than Mich st, Wisconsin, Indiana , Maryland, Rutgers, and nw.

Refresh my memory - is Sparty seeded ahead of the 11-9 herd at the BTT?

They’re 11-8, so yeah. They’ll be behind anyone that finishes 12-8 too

Michigan and Purdue will be the only teams to win a game in the NCAA Tourney this year.

edit: from the big ten lol

I’ll have to see the draw before I make any predictions about the Big Ten but I’m not real bullish on anyone in the dance. That being said I think Northwestern could be a good sneaky S16 pick, give me experienced guards in the tournament all day.

I do think experienced guards help…but I just don’t know if NW is actually very good. Not really feeling great about anyone. Going to come down to the draw and who hits some threes. I still think Purdue will do ok simply because of Edey.

What if they’re not experienced in the tournament or even a big BTT game?

I agree with you that NW isn’t actually very good but I’d also respond ā€œwho is?ā€

Obviously we see it the most in the Big Ten but there’s a whole bunch of majorly flawed teams that are gonna be top seeds in the tourney this year.

Purdue is the only good team and everyone fluctuates between good to bad. Technically, B1G measure up well in conference metrics but it’s a stinky conference overall IMO. I think it speaks to the overall quality of CBB across the country. There is no elite teams in the country and the field is the most wide open that I can remember in a long time.

Apologies in advance to anyone hoping Rutgers wins tomorrow.

It’s kind of a win/win for us so no sweat. Lose and we could pass you, win and we don’t have to play msu in the BTT

It’s things like this that make me feel even better when we beat Indiana
