I clearly recall Wisconsin beating Purdue last year on a banked Hepburn three.
Solari, Charboneau, and Couch are MSU fans with credentials.
This is true but even then there are less embarrassing fan types than them too. Couch is a disgrace most of the time
Penn State student section was slurring Rutgers players:
Thatās not a great look ⦠but yeah that is unacceptable and awful
Me personally, I like to look through opponent playersā venmo statements and really old photos and provide them for our student section posters. Iāve become quite elite at finding dirt on players
So are we supposed to root for Wisconsin to beat Purdue so this can happen? But then Wisconsin gets themselves in the tourney!? Head spins
'Tis the conundrum of life on the bubble
I donāt see any chance of it happening so Iām rooting for Purdue to beat Wisconsin. No one outside of B1G country deserves to see them play in the NCAA on national TV. Their style is so bland and offensive to the game of basketball.
I donāt know who you are Mr. guest, but I am 100% in agreement. If it was rooting for IU or something maybeā¦but Purdue can have their title if it means Wisconsin stays home and helps our chances even a little.
Purdue-Wisconsin is after our game. If we beat Illinois, then yeah, Iāll root for Purdue to lose. My love for Michigan outweighs my hate for Wisconsin. Us winning a share of the title would be amazing story.
If we lose to Illinois, then Purdue can beat them by 50.
Feels like the move is clearly to root for Wisconsin if Michigan wins at Illinois. Why wouldnāt you want to at least keep the opportunity of playing for a Big Ten title alive?
If Michigan loses ⦠probably want Purdue to win so Indiana isnāt potentially playing for a share of the Big Ten title
I didnāt realize the game times. That makes more sense. If weāre riding high after an upset win on the road, then Iāll āroot against Purdueā (not root for Wisconsin). Otherwise I want the Badgers out.
Penn State has since released another statement basically saying we canāt be sure anything was said. But between the statement from the student fan group and how agitated Rutgers players were Iām guessing a line was crossed. Iād like to hope it was at least not as extreme as what was originally speculated.
Iād imagine the kid didnāt send that message out based on nothing.
Iowa with a quick 8-0 run to open the scoring in Bloomington. Kris Murray stroking it
I guess technically itās in our interests for IU to win, because we play them twice? But I also wouldnāt mind seeing them eliminated from the Big Ten title race before our game.
The reffing is clearly an inexact science tonight.
IU with both TJD and JHS on the bench is not a good team.
