Shouldn’t he have added that Joey Hauser could probably have played more minutes a game “back in the day” before Brad Davison flagrantly fouled him in the nether regions.
Izzo always reveals his narcissist tendencies with the passive aggressive comments he makes about everyone but himself. There’s a way to say his comment that isn’t being an awful person.
“Well, I have no problem playing guys 30 minutes, especially when they are our best players. I will say that I prefer having the ability to play some of my guys really hard for fewer minutes rather than ask them to stretch into that role. Some guys handle that better than others and it does change the way you coach. But this is the roster we have and we are excited to see how far it can take us.”

I was thinking that too after listening to the pod. He still can’t shoot, he doesn’t dribble, he didn’t suddenly get taller…just being the best version of himself. I didn’t expect it… especially since you don’t usually see seniors make a leap.

Rutgers is tough man. Took some haymakers from Indiana early and back to within 3 right after half.
Looked like they were going to get run off the court.

Other than gambling, I need a rooting interest for Big 10 games. Is it too early to start watching games through ‘how does this help Michigan more’ glasses? Play both Rutgers and IU coming up. Do we want Rutgers or IU to win?

Agree on both. I can’t believe that punk flopped and the ref rewarded him to give Rutgers best player his fourth foul. Terrible officiating and garbage basketball.

IU is a team that plays tight. A lot. Beating them will be as much a matter of playing them tough as playing well.
