While I think last year’s Michigan team would’ve done it, will Purdue be the first to win 17 games since IU in 1993?
Purdue is good but Omaha is a terrible team (KP 300+). Let’s wait to see Purdue play a couple of Big Ten games before crowning them at 20-0.
I’m just crowing them 18-2. Who in the Big Ten looks even close to them in your opinion?
Purdue looks good. Probably the best in the big ten. But are we basing this entirely off of a win over a solid, not elite Villanova team and a mediocre Carolina team?
When Michigan beat Villanova by 30 a few years ago, did they run away with a title? Need to be careful not to make grand proclamations off of a small sample size
Just takes an off shooting night for them to lose a game, their defense hasn’t been unbelievable. But they definitely look like the most complete team in the Big Ten right now. I think their depth is gonna help them a lot too. If I predicted right now I would guess they drop four or so games but that still being enough to win the league.
This is based on being lower on the rest of the Big Ten vs any earth shattering Purdue changes since the start of the season.
You’re definitely lower on Purdue than I am. I think they’re currently the only team in the conference without a major roster hole. Sure, some holes on other teams might get filled, but as it currently stands I think Purdue is way out in front of the Big Ten competition.
At least if we’re gonna struggle Illinois is right there with us. Currently down 8 w/ 5 left in the first half against UTRGV
Missing their whole backcourt
Is Frazier not playing? I’m not watching but he’s in the box score off the bench on ESPN
Penn St giving LSU all they can handle…
Iowa 6-0… against, and I don’t even think it’s arguably, the worst nonconference schedule ever scheduled.
Shrewsberry with a head scratcher there
Game’s a blast. PSU’s effort has been admirable.
That was interesting didn’t get the two fouls which they didn’t want and got the tip in
College hoops. Nothing quite like it.
Really would’ve loved to get Pickett as a transfer
New Banner for the Illini: Winner of an OT Game versus Team with Five Consonants
Kofi and Plummer have 32 FGA between them. The rest of the team has 18.
(Now it’s 32/20)
