It would be awesome if Tschetter this year could have been the UMHoops Forum Members Made-Three-Pointer Sideline Fainter.

It’s 5/5 so maybe not a declaration of returning. Would be pretty weird to withdraw now

Random thought but that Devante performance at Ohio State was crazy

What is this nonsense? Get it out of here.

Yeah, why would you enter your name only to pull out now before the combine? Weird vibes with this tweet. Is this just MSU’s recruiting pitch to get him to come back? Have they tried sending him a picture of Mel Tucker smoking a cigar?

Jaren Jackson Jr and Draymond to both return to college and fugg with me.

It’s because today is 5/5 and he wears 5. That’s it.

One answer would be if he didn’t get an invite to either combine…but I can’t believe that would actually be the case.

Folks are so willing to what? Not be clear on what tweets mean out of context? I had no idea what it meant and I hit this site up A Lot.

Think the tweet is saying that the highlights are just highlights in the video and not a commitment to come back which was the general consensus.

Also probably coincides with this:

Two funniest Big Ten portal stories are Northwestern potentially losing Pete Nance to Illinois and Purdue’s fruitless (so far) search for a point guard.

Also Baylor Scheierman picking Creighton over Nebraska says something about how the Fred Hoiberg era is going. People aren’t even going to be able to hype them up on the basis of “they got some transfers I heard of.” Although Teddy Allen is back on the market, so who knows?

The rumors are that Scheierman’s representation was looking for some major NIL dollars. :man_shrugging:

Now that transfers are an everyday occurrence and NIL has, at least for the moment, complicated that process, Fred has no more cards left to play. Football is obviously king in Lincoln and Frost’s massive struggles have probably shielded Hoiberg to some degree, but now that the AD who hired him is gone, another subpar season combined with Frosty Boy finally breaking through probably spells the end for ol’ Fred.

These projections seem…off. I like Gillis’ game but is he really going to be Purdue’s leading scorer? And is Fletcher Loyer really going to average 12 points a game? I know, it’s just a computer.

Wow…the Purdue roster is jarring. I trust Painter to make it a tough out, but I can’t see how that team would do much of anything.

Agreed with the assessment of Fred and the situation in Lincoln. He was years ahead of the time with his model at Iowa St. and now everybody else has caught up. Too bad and I think its fair to question if anybody can win consistently in Lincoln.

Purdue has a bunch of dudes who can play and if they could bring in a Mike Smith equivalent they’d be really cooking with gas. In the very least they need somebody who can bring the ball up court.
