Hilarious. It does make you wonder about the whole “academic progress” thing and how long scholarships are good for. I assume he has multiple degrees from multiple schools by now.
This made my afternoon far better, thank you!
so OSU’s 10-man rotation will be guys in Year 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 3, and four freshmen. Surely the oldest team in the nation
Two knee surgeries and one back surgery.
Wasn’t he a grad transfer when he went to OSU in the first place? This is year three there!
Yes, his is a bit of a unique case. He had two years of eligibility left when he transferred as a graduate, and now with the COVID year he’s getting a third season at OSU.
Purdue just has a never-ending string of kids at C who look like giant toddlers playing on a tiny tykes hoop. It’s infuriating, yet fascinating.
There must be some unknown Purdue staffer who scours recruiting sites looking for anyone 7-2 or taller so they can send scholarship offers out to them. I suspect that Purdue has had pretty much ever single B10 player taller than 7-1 for the past 15 years.
Yeah, but some of them get a PhD or a Law degree!
Edit: Obviously, I wrote this before watching the clip.
They’re called doctors, Ernie!
Psch, this guy!
Watch Tommy Boy this weekend and thank me later.
Sorry, I commented on the wrong thread!
Yes, my wife and I are always looking for a good movie. We’ll check it out!
Ha! I’m not sure I’d call it a good movie but as long as you’re okay with juvenile humor then I think you’ll enjoy it.
I’ve been around juveniles most of my life and, frankly, I use a lot of juvenile humor. Well, and then some dad jokes, too, though I’m so old they’re grandpa jokes now!
That’s why we love you Ernie
There’s no way you won’t laugh at least 3-5 times, Ernie! In order to keep your mood light, just think of all the "Tom"s you like, and not the “smaller-in-stature-Tom” you have some disdain for in East Lansing!
Oh, my gosh! I thought it was all the mature, wise, fatherly advice I dole out in 500 words or more!
Seems like a decent upgrade on Ahrens? Probably a slightly worse shooter but he can actually play inside the arc and I assume he isn’t as awful on defense. Granted he’s a pure 2 and not a wing.
McNeil and Holden by themselves are solid portal adds for OSU. But in the context of losing Liddell, Branham, Young, Meechie, Ahrens, Russell and Wheeler I feel like they need at least one big time guard to join in as well. Otherwise they basically only have freshmen to play in the backcourt. Feels like another big step back this year incoming for Holtmann.
I have awesome news
