Illinois is at 14 scholarships with Clark. So they’d need 4 more guys to transfer to get those guys. And Hopkins is a downgrade from Hawkins. Dude can’t shoot

At least he tries haha. And is super tall. Either way, I think Hopkins is a downgrade which is more of a statement on Hopkins than Hawkins.
Illinois does have a few guys they could push out if they have to. And considering Underwood it wouldn’t shock me I guess. Hutcherson, Grandison/Hawkins, BBV, Lieb. That’s 4 potential transfers so I guess Boutros nightmare scenario isn’t out of the question

Curious what Wisconsin will do. They have 4 scholarships. The transfers they brought in last year were kind of stinky. Neath may have been the most inexplicable transfer any B1G team took. Hepburn, Wahl and Crowl are at least competent starters but they have to find at least 2 contributors or they won’t be a tournament team and we can go back to saying Gard stinks.
