Doesn’t seem like a Juwan kind of guy but I’d take him too.
Bring Trevion Williams home he can be all big 10 instead of being 6th man of the year.
Here’s the quote:
Q. Pete, just probably your last collegiate game played today. You haven’t made any announcement about that going forward, but what do you have to say about your career at Northwestern and your time here and what you’ve accomplished?
PETE NANCE: Yeah, my time here’s been amazing. Like I said, I love Northwestern, I love my teammates, I love this school, I love my coaches. I love everybody at Northwestern. I have no plans, no idea about what’s next for me. I need to just go home and think about it, talk about it with my family, coaches, friends, family, stuff like that. You know, I’m just really thankful for everybody along the way who’s gotten me to this point. I feel like I’ve come a long way and I’m just proud of being a Northwestern Wildcat, for sure.
MSU said hold our beer, we can do better. Currently trying to blow a 20 point lead with 14 left instead of 17 with 12 like we did.
It’s meaningless but State led Maryland by 20, and with 15 seconds left, the margin is 2.
Maryland with the ball.
Russell misses the 3-point attempt…
OSU in free fall.
Look at Ohio trying to make Michigan feel better. Good for them
I’m sure he’s a great kid, but if they are going to rely on Joey Brunk in the tournament, OSU might not go any further than last year.
I am a huge Kyle Young fan and I don’t think its any coincidence that their March collapse the past 2 years have seen him out/limited.
Really interesting to see what happens to them next week. If Holtmann doesn’t make it out of the first weekend the whispers will probably get louder. And with Liddell/Young/Branham(???)/Brunk (haha) walking out the door, thats a lot of talent to replace.
Ohio State reminds me of 2009 Michigan with Sims (Liddell) and Harris (Branham) and nothing else. They’re worse defensively than most average Iowa teams and their offense isn’t balanced enough to win consistently IMO
I thought that not having Kyle Young last year was a problem for OSU in the tournament and I think that his absence is a problem for them this year as well.
Has anyone had worse injury luck than Young? He finished 2018, 2020, 2021, and now 2022 with a string of DNPs. Not sure if he was injured as a freshman or just not in the rotation but he’s only actually been able to play in March one year out of five. And in 2019 he missed four games in the middle of conference play.
Wow, that’s absolutely brutal.
The answer around here is Isaiah Livers. Hurt every year of his career here, but most importantly was the leader of a #1 seed going into the tournament.
While I definitely think Young’s absence has hurt them, Holtmann’s teams had a history of late-season fades even before then. So it’s kind of six of one, half a dozen of the other. Even short handed, I don’t think they should have lost to three bottom-feeders (Maryland, Nebraska and PSU) in 10 days.
Xavier Johnson walks by and elbows Curbelo in the chest during a dead ball. Dude really does suck. I don’t get why refs routinely let guys like him get away with that stuff when they review it on video and clearly see what happened.
Curbelo has some sweet transition passes in traffic
Eric Curry comes to mind.
Is Cliff Omoruyi a potential NBA draft defector? Just a freakish athlete for the 5.
