If Illinois gets 4 years out of him I won’t even be jealous because that’s just such an improbability for a number of reasons. He was in the transfer portal last year for gods sake. If he comes back he should get a statue and they should rip Ayo’s jersey down. Like he’d be the most program transformative player in two decades of cbb

My uneducated take on MSU is that they are a better team this year because they dumped their worst players (Loyer, Kithier, Watts, Langford) and replaced them in the rotation with better players. That opened up their transition game, they shoot better from outside, and they are better defensively.
But…most of their players are still limited and one dimensional. Once you get into the heart of the B10 season and the good coaches in the league figure you out…it gets tough. They don’t have a good half court offense.

They have the least good best player of any MSU team I can remember.
