Liddell and Key look so GIGANTIC compared to Minnesota’s “bigs”. They seem to out-muscle the Gopher centers in the post and get so close to the basket it looks like child’s play.
To be fair, Eric Curry is out.
That would make some difference.
This is the third game he’s missed (injured at MSU) and he was really the only real big that was playing earlier this season.
And if you can’t get enough of just hearing the name we’ve got our own coming next year

I haven’t seen a ton of Iowa this year, can someone tell me why they are still garbage on defense? The Murray bros are athletic and get tons of Stocks. They should be enough to get a top 100 defense you’d think. Has Bohannon been that bad? Is the transfer C getting abused? Do they literally not practice D? Do they still change defenses 5 times a game?
Because they are Iowa. No more needs to be said. It is like asking “why are the Lions still not making the playoffs” or “why is water wet”.
