Big Ten Basketball 2020-21 Discussion (Part 2)

Irrelevant. We will lose our first game

Iowa without Wieskamp would be pretty favorable too imo.

Prob means we’d get Ohio State

That’s the caveat. Without Wieskamp, Iowa’s ceiling is significantly lowered.

Northwestern up by 14. It looks like they are going to begin and end Big Ten play with 3-game winning streaks, with just a little 13-game losing streak in between.

Not sure if having trouble beating the top 5 teams in the conference should have them at 12th in KenPom but like pointed out KenPom (and other efficiency rating sites like Barttorvik - who is ironically a Wisconsin fan) has always had trouble with overrating Wisconsin

Trevor Anderson has been woefully short on every three he’s taken. No wonder he hesitated and passed it up in that Illinois game.

It’s hurting Iowa that Connor McCaffrey is 3.8 points under his average.

Luka Garza is making Micah Potter look like Luka Garza.

Bohannon is fun to watch. No conscience, just bombs away from everywhere.

Trice flop leads to a Bohannon three.

Everybody like that.

Not sure what I was thinking

As @umhoops always says… the best way to get your offense right is a game against Iowa.

Iowa’s lack of resistance in these last couple of minutes is crazy. Just wide-open 3s everywhere

Do we know had bad the Wieskamp injury is? Like out for the BTT bad?

From above. Air cast doesn’t seem promising, but could be precautionary I guess.

I’m amazed that the coach’s son only shoots 56% from the stripe.

*this coach’s son. I doubt they were doing defensive slides in the driveway

For the tourney do we have a preference on whether Wisconsin or Iowa wins this?

Murray with some huge rebounds down the stretch here.
