Big Ten Basketball 2020-21 Discussion (Part 2)

sooo this is actually getting a lot worse

Who was expecting Neb to pound Rutgers?

literally no one. unthinkable. I know Rutgers isn’t the cream of the crop but jeez.

So the middle of the Big Ten may not actually be all that good. I’m now questioning the depth of the league after the top 5-6 teams. Indiana, Minnesota, Rutgers are not inspiring a lot of confidence right now. Thought this would be a 9-10 bid league… you have to squint real hard to find that many deserving teams

You might be right but you are offending my sense of B1G exceptionalism.

Well, so much for that Rutgers win jumping up to Q1

Nebraska win to Q2 at least?

MSU lost to Rutgers by 30. Nebraska beating Rutgers by 30 midway through the second half. Nebraska vs. MSU would be a bloodbath.

There is a scenario which involves Minnesota getting hot down the stretch that results in a MSU-Nebraska 11-14 rubber match.

Maryland will pass up Rutgers in the standings after this IU/Minn like performance by Rutgers.

Which means Sparty might get Rutgers in the 8-9 game…and thus increasing the chance we get Rutgers in the quarters.

Going to be a long trip back to NJ after this debacle. I hope not by bus for their sake.

what does a 30pt margin do to these teams’ NET rankings? How high a jump for Neb, how low a tumble for Rutgers?

Don’t ask Izzo unless you want an earful

:joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy: a complete sentence.

Pikell should start his press conference pointing out the rust on his team as a result of not playing since last Wednesday Feb 24, while Nebraska was able to stay sharp playing on Thursday Feb 25 and Saturday Feb 27.
