Lunardi has Michigan State, Duke and Indiana as the first 3 teams out in his latest bracketology. Indiana still has plenty to play for if they can manage to show some guts.
Been a busy day at work so Iām late to the party. If we were to lose one of the last three, hereās how I want that to play outā¦
We win the next two and lock up everything. We go to MSU and start a bunch of seniors like Austin Davis over Hunter, Brown over Wagner, and maybe make sure that the bench mob gets to play in the first half. Maybe we donāt even suit up Franz and Hunter. The game stays close, MSU gets nervous after Faulds hits a couple of and-1s after getting hacked by MSU, and then they eek one out at the end.
If weāre gonna sit Hunter and Franz Iād sit Isaiah, too! Otherwise spot on. But, since itās gonna be close at the end, why donāt WE eke out the victory with a three by C.J. Baird at the buzzer! I know that wasnāt the scenario. The question was, āIf we have to lose oneā¦ā but what the hel! letās just win all of 'em!
I just think we owe it to Eli to help him go undefeated in his senior season.
Wonderful work youāve done here. Full circle.
I will eat my hat if that is the case on Selection Sunday. No way 3 blue bloodish teams are the first 3 out. At least one mid major will be thrown overboard in that scenario.
This is the guy I always think ofā¦
I have thought that Brad looks like Brendan Gleeson since Brad was at Oklahoma State.
Brad was great in 28 Days later, Gangs of New York, and the Harry Potter movies.
I flipped past Safe House last night as I was falling asleep on the couch and stuck around for a few minutes. Heās also the bad guy in that movie and it was good timing with the bone headed comments Underwood was making.
Mr. Mercedesā¦if youāre a Brendan/Stephen King fan.
Was perusing some Illini forums and came across something that legit made me laugh out loud (emphasis added):
Wagner is definitely their X factor. Can Georgi hang with him? How about Grandison? Could see Damonte there too although undersized.
Also side note. Michigan doesnāt have one definitive X factor. Michigan has at least three
Iāll watch it again sometime to make sure, but I think Brad was decent in In Bruges, too.
IllinoisLoyalty has some spectacular scouting threads. My favorite so far has been the claim that Chaundee Brown is the Mark Vital of Michigan.
Mark Vital is a 260 lb small-ball center with 0 3pt FG on the season.
Hereās the latest from the Illni Inquirer message board!
āAnd they donāt have a player to check Ayo, Kofi or Curbelo. I mean, who is going to stop Ayo ? Heāll score and pass on them. Dickinson hasnāt seen somebody like Kofi down low and who on their team (or any team) can stay in front of Curbelo ?ā
This is funny because Chaundee is nothing like Mark Vital!
Their message board is a trip, Iāll tell ya that!
This post is obviously dumb on a lot of levels, but for some reason it got me looking at Andre Curbeloās Torvik page, and somehow Curbelo (a 6ā1 PG) has the 2nd highest foul rate in the B1G and the 32nd highest among high major players.
