Once again? And we’re basing this on 4 games?
MSU was in the 11/11 play in game. Going to OT would seem to have been a fairly expected outcome of that game. OSU losing was a huge upset. Wisconsin up big. Purdue needs to turn it on in the 2nd half. Illinois rolled.
Guess my relative fears of UNC in Michigan’s 8/9 match were misplaced
LOL. Man IU fans are pure comedy
If we go back and look, I’d guess most were.
Just all time great cope. “Our job was discussed on national media”, as if they’re Wofford or something lol
It’s like saying that you went for the popular girl in high school and people are talking about you how stupid you are. You think you’re now relevant because people are talking about you.
I don’t think it’s overrated. We knew Michigan state sucked , no one else in the world seemed to though.
I’ll stand by Ohio st and Purdue were fluke losses.
Washington hasn’t played like that all year. Both teams shot them selves in the foot down the stretch with missed free throws.
I’ll stand by Ohio st as a 10-16 range team at worst and purdue a top 25.
Thank you! His smug post is redolent with Schefter douchey vibes. Why can’t people smugly declaring others provincial recognize that they, too, are provincial, in their own way? Also, Woj is a star at what he does, but you don’t see me smugly laughing at his terrible writing skills. Except when he’s douchey.
OSU was honestly a weird team all year, that seemed to play to the level of its competition - and they had a really hard time closing games out.
Purdue may have benefitted from the unbalanced league schedule. Only one game apiece against Michigan, Illinois and Iowa and they went 0-3 in those. They may have been overseeded.
We’ll see where the league stands after today. We should be at least 5-4 to finish the first round.
Jeff Rabjohns of Peegs says Beilein and Mike Woodson (!!!) are 1 and 1A right now at IU, assuming Stevens is a hard no.
How lucky is Indiana to have 3 former NBA head coaches in the running for their head coaching position?? The job is probably even discussed on national media
Wow. In that case I bet it’s Woodson. Indiana guy gets the tiebreaker.
If your JB and had the choice…IU or Marquette?
I would say that Marquette is a less stressful job. IU certainly will offer more money.
Porter Moser>>>>Mike Woodson
I think I’m in the minority on this one, but I so don’t want to see John Beilein chewed up and spat out by the IU mob. I do think that he brings an improved team quickly. But from there to the level that those numbskulls demand. . .
Now, to go to a Jesuit inner-city school and turn it into a bastion of great hoop going forward. . .
Link me please. I need the reaction posts
Beilein needs a little time to turn teams around. Most of the players on the roster he either wouldn’t want or would need to drastically change how they play. Michigan struggled mightily his first season as he tried to ingrain a new way of playing into the returning players brains.
Sure you can take in transfers, but his stuff isn’t exactly plug and play.
