Yeah, announcers busy gushing over Illinois while Washington gets hit in the face without a call. No mention.
Finishing first pursuant to the agreed-upon rules from the beginning of the season helps too.
I think he poked himself in the eye.
It is going to be really interesting when the B10 teams start playing games with refs that havenât been calling their games all season. I am not sure if that would favor teams that foul more or foul less.
CBS is so ready to move on from this gameâŚas the refs go to the monitor with 5 seconds left in a lost cause. Great television all around.
Youâre talking about the old school Big East conundrum. On the one hand, the teams were tough. On the other hand, what flew in the Big East did not fly nationally.
I always thought the Fab 5 did better with officiating in the tournament than during the B10 season, where the refsâIâm thinking of you Hightowerâseemed to really dislike them.
Prediction: Izzo is not going to be a happy camper.
Canât wait to hear Underwood say theyâre the true B1G champs taking a dig at Michigan
Congrats to Illinois. They can raise a real banner now
Maybe, but we beat OSU soundly with Livers in Columbus and lost by a hairâor a couple of calls, depending on your POVâyesterday without him. Weâve got nothing to hang out heads about.
Pity that he only does it to us.
Forgive me, I had to sound off.
Oh boy come on Isiahâ:eyes:
Classy to the end.
Why would you do that when you just won? (Not that itâs OK when you lose, but I could understand it more.). When we win, I donât feel too salty about the other team.
I think it would favor Michigan because they lacked the depth especially with Livers out. Hunter has been foul prone as of late so I think he would benefit greatly from a different officiating crew.
Curious since I had the sound off. Did the TV guys openly question Underwood re: the final possession in regulation the way they openly questioned Juwan yesterday?
