MSU game postponed
Damnit, I wanted to see that game. Hopefully it gets rescheduled.
On a positive note Illinois winning means the B1G has won the B1G-ACC challenge after day 1!
Shouldâve been undefeated too if Purdue didnât blow a 20 point lead
Cancel Toledo and give me Michigan vs. Michigan State round one. This fan base deserves a rivalry game this week.
I really like this idea, but not sure if the B1G would allow it. Man I really really like that idea.
I guess the best game of the challenge wasnât MSU/VirginiaâŚ
Duke mustâve practiced how to keep social distance in a basketball game.
A Purdue meltdown away from a clean sweep on day one. Very good for Michigan, we need the Big Ten to be as good as possible.
Also, itâs hard to be surprised that the conference allowing football games to look like this is responsible for 3/3 of the cancellations.
I heard on a Louisville basketball broadcast that the attendance was 3,000 or something and couldnât believe my ears.
COVID has won more games in this challenge than the ACC.
I heard something similar in a different game about a few thousand in attendance. Then after an awkward pause one announcer said something like, âthat sounds like a lot, but this is a pretty big venue.â Ugh
He had to eventually.
ESPN was showing Virginia highlights while talking about their game getting canceled and even they had tons of people in the stands. I wouldâve expected better from them. Crazy that theyâre putting thousands into enclosed arenas. So yeah, Iâm shocked that them and Louisville are two of the cancellations. I donât know if NC State has fans or not, so I wonât say anything regarding them without knowing.
There are CBB teams with fans in the stands in indoor basketball arenas? Or, just CFB teams?
CBB as well yes. Not a great idea as we are seeing, (though I would have thought that was obvious before.)
Thatâs crazy. I was unaware of that.
Great win for PSU. Imagine if they didnât piss away the SH game.
Weâve got one more game tonight before the conference season commences, but. . . anyone care to speculate about how strong Michigan looks in comparison to the rest of the B1G at this stage? To me the conference looks more daunting than it did a month ago.
