I’ve always wondered what kind of practice time Fran devotes to defense.
How does UNC struggle so much to find wings? Leaky Black (Guy who Charles Matthews slaughtered spiritually) is quite bad for a blue blood starter. Last two years he’s at a 90 ORtg playing over 70% of minutes and only at a 15% usage rate.

I still think my pre-game take was solid on the Iowa game. A 10-15 team vs a 25ish+ team. It’s just crazy to me how many UNC rotation players are just straight up bad on offense. But they’re still keeping it close. As I watch Iowa I’m just not thinking “Wow, this team could easily play even with a Gonzaga or Baylor.”

Minnesota’s Brandon Johnson just had a somewhat nasty looking ankle injury. He’s basically Brandon Johns for them, which is kinda funny given the name similarity and that they wear the same number. Obviously the injury part isn’t funny. Hope it’s just a sprain.

Gonzaga Iowa is going to a ridiculous offensive game for both sides. Baylor I agree terrifies me for Iowa, but they terrify me for everyone. I think Iowa’s top 5 ranking is pretty well deserved right now, and compared to Wisconsin (Marquette) & Illinois (Ohio/Baylor) they seem to have passed their first test a bit better
