Am I alone in seeing the irony in Fran’s “anti-racism” patch?
Hard to believe a program like UNC has someone like Andrew Platek in the rotation. Bad defender, bad shooter, can’t handle the ball or pass, can’t drive to the hoop well. Super lucky to draw a “foul” there on a bad drive.
i like this Sharpe kid for UNC. Some nice moves down low and brings a lot of energy. Aaand he just picked up his fourth foul.
The patch addresses some Iowa vulnerabilities, but doesn’t fix them.
All of these games have tightened up. Every game is within 4 right now.

The third one was a baaaaaad call too. I would’ve taken him out there to let him cool off.
But I suppose Roy Williams has a few more National Championships than I do. Sigh.
What’s with all these late foul calls? Refs keep waiting to see if a shot goes in before they blow the whistle.

I thought Kessler was supposed to be a better shooter than Dickinson. He looks really shaky on FTs while Dickinson has been very solid

Now Iowa gets screwed on a call against our old friend Walker Kessler
Kessler in general hasn’t looked anything like I expected. I preferred him to Dickinson by quite a bit and thought he was potential one and done material.

So did I. It’s still early in their careers, but Dickinson is way more ready for college basketball

Kessler killing UNC. Looks like he has a mental block on FTs cause those were brutal and he’s now 3-10 for the year
Minnesota tied with BC with under 2 minutes left. Terrible basketball, but those watching Iowa might want to switch to watch the last few possessions.

I really cannot stress enough how awful this game is lol. Neither of these teams are remotely good based on my eye test. Players are just randomly running around chucking up bad fadeaway twos.
Dare I say that I’m kinda liking NC’s intensity, even–without thinking about it much–rooting for them? What the heck has happened to me?
