Kenyon’s injury helped them win the tourney, arguably, though of course we’re just assuming Cincinnati would have won it, or beaten MSU, and we have no way of knowing either (or whether they would have even played each other).
Taylor’s accident, though, paved the way for Izzo to land just about every top recruit from Michigan that he wanted for a good 10-12 year run, if not longer.

Lol Edey is so dang big. He might actually make Dickinson look average sized. Does one of the commentators sound weird to you guys? Like his audio sounds robotic. Im streaming thru watchespn so not sure if that makes a difference
Was gonna post something about how I love when coaching/scheme/defense gets B1G wins over the ACC/SEC, but Purdue doesn’t really look any less athletic than Miami.

The Purdue hype train may be fully derailed at this point. Miami is also missing their best player
As Purdue blew a 20 pt lead w/ 3 or 4 foul outs?
plus Eric Hunter is back for Purdue. Really bad choke for them at full strength

Matt Painter going through the random two-year down stretch that JB did? Harder to justify this one though, not like he lost a ton of guys to the draft early or injury.
I mean a lot of people (myself included) expect them to be a tournament team a year after being .500 overall. They’re gonna have to be a lot better moving forward to do that.
He did just lose 2 senior starters to transfer, but he also claimed it made his team better.
Also he had that stretch from 2012-2014.
