This team beating Iowa twice will forever remain one of the unsolved mysteries of the universe.
Archie always gets one team a year. Previously he has been picking on Michigan State.
Al Durham couldnāt miss. Even banked one in, and TJD was playing well early. Rutgers stunk the RAC up. And THEN, Rutgers called an extended time out, went into the locker room showered with Axe Body Wash, and SUDDENLYā¦the stink was gone, they were refreshed, it was almost as if a cool, soothing breeze waffed through the RAC and thatās all they needed!
Didnāt watch any of it, but Iām dying over here reading the comments from the start of the game to the end
Also enjoying the fact that the B1G Network postgame special is, for some reason, on the 1985-86 IU team ā¦ the team that lost spectacularly and memorably as a 3 seed to Cleveland State in the first round of the tourney (on a personal note, the first tourney I followed).
Just out and out trolling IU fans tonight.
If Indiana were smart, youād hire Beilein to get the program straight for someone to take over after he retires. Hopefully Indiana is not smart.
I support them keeping Archie for many reasons, but this might be at the top of the list. Because this would be a great idea for them.
I imagine the Harbaughs would be on that list for some.
IU boards are fishing desperately tonight. Rick Carlisle and Mark Few are the hot names so far
Do they still dream of Alford, or is that one finally dead?
Havenāt seen his name yet. Some Beilein, some Matta. Stevens is the dream.
Dakich is sitting right there.
Pikiell at IU is worlds better than the proprietar of the Island
From scanning their boards in the past, a surprising number would welcome the Alford route because they think itād be like Michigan hiring JH (lol). Dane Fife is another name thatās been brought up at times because of the IU connection.
Not sure if it was mentioned above but apparently Franklin reaggravated his ankle that he injured earlier this year. So thatās something to monitor before our game on Saturday.
Purdue fans are certainly rooting for IU to keep Archie. After all, they have never lost to an Archieās coached IU team.
Dr. Archie on Franklin:
Archie on Armaan Franklin, "Armaan aggravated his foot, ankle, Achilles, whatever and that's why he wasn't able to play." #iubb

Foot, ankle, his toe fell off, I dunno, whatever.
I almost spit out my water
What a likeable guy huh?
According to the IU 247 board, Jerome Hunter left the court with about 2 minutes left and Parker Stewart, the midseason transfer, had to drag him back out of the locker room.
