Well apparently the foul is on Walker, so agreed. OSU by 90
Liddell decided to make me right again and commit his 4th on an a charge call
Oh man OSU just got bailed out by that foul call.
what else is new
Hararr just fouled out. Gunna have to go nuclear from 3 and get some stops.
That offenseā¦good god
Iowa with a big win at Wisconsin. Hawkeyes D has been much better the past 4 games.
EJ Liddell is shooting 42% from three in his last 8 games, that takes him from a very good player to an elite one.
I havenāt listened to it myself, but a poster over at MGoBlog said that Sam Webb (whoās really plugged in with the athletic department) made a statement that they think Mike Smith is going to stick around for another season. Obviously thatās a discussion for the off-season, but if that comes true it has to be almost the ideal fit for what we need next year. Take the pressure off the three young guards and give the lineup some flexibility to move people around more at the wing. Fingers crossed it comes true - Smith has been amazing this season.
That would be absolutely enormous. I have been hoping we get one of Smith and Eli back and I think Smith is probably the preferred choice as a pure PG. Sure would be nice to head into next season knowing whoās starting at the 1 and the 5 with a plethora of talented bodies to fill in the other three spots. Smith, Bufkin, Houston, Diabate, and Dickinson seems like a pretty fantastic starting lineup.
But Iād have to stop making Wisconsin and Josh Langford jokes
Zeb has looked pretty good defensively the last few times heās played. And theyāll need a secondary ball handler. Wouldnāt just assume heāll get passed up.
You can still make Wisconsin and Langford jokes since Smith is new to the Big Ten and it wonāt feel like heās been around forever like Grandpa Josh and the Wisconsin guys
Is it just me or does this osu um game remind anyone else of that game in 2012 that was played this same week in February? Except um is playing the role of osu(the more talented team playing away from home) while osu is playing the role of um(the crazy well coached team that makes no sense how they are that good given the talent level).
John Beilein is on todayās Titus and Tate podcasts episode for anyone interested
We played a deep rotation last night and Zeb didnāt see the floor (and we donāt even have a different backup guard). Iād rather not count on any meaningful minutes from him next year and just be pleasantly surprised if he plays well. We all like to punk Hoggard, and, indeed, his team sucks so it makes more sense for him to play, but I think itās a stretch to expect Zeb to look any better than AJ next year.
Iād kill for Mike to stick around.
HUGE IF TRUE
(first non-ironic use of that line in quite a while)
I know we will be mentally prepared for Sunday, but Iām worried about the physical. Rutgers and we beat each other up while it appears that PSU and OSU just played in an all-star game. Can someone talk me down?
