Big Ten Basketball 2020-21 Discussion (Part 1)

Perhaps each at varying parts of the game.

I watch these teams and see us matching up so well. Can only hope we come out of the pause hungry.

Franz. I kind of like the idea of Eli on Curbelo, who really helps dictate their offense. Let Mike chase Frazier around

I don’t doubt our team’s motivation but if they’re really not practicing or even getting up shots for weeks?

Great first half in Iowa and Illinois game. Not sure there has been much defense but has been some great offense too. Two good teams definatley think other than Michigan these are two best teams in Big Ten. Hope Michigan after two week break can split with Illinois and Wisconsin and not be completly rusty. Only good thing is shot may be rusty but should be able to still play great defense and stay in games just stinks coming back have that tough two game stretch assuming they can resume in time for Illinois. Need Illinois win tonight to give UM 2 game lead in Big will need the cushion with layoff.

43-41 . Can someone remind me of how many total points msu scored in their last game? I’ve genuinely forgotten and need to see it typed out

The quality of play tonight is so superior to last night, that it’s like watching a different sport.

And yet, last night’s game was infinitely more entertaining.

I will say I was little deafened by the rim clangs in yesterday’s game, at least on one side of the court.

L’affaire Deon Thomas still rankles all these years later.

I was struck by how many wide open looks Dosunmu had in the first half. I know Iowa can’t guard everybody but they should attempt to keep someone within a few feet of Dosunmu.

I wonder if Illinois fans complain about Giorgi as much as we do about Davis. It is just so frustrating watching a back big come on and have to be force feed the ball.

Iowa junk zone forces a TO!

Keegan Murray is going to be a problem

Yeah what has happened to Giorgi? He has been terrible tonight.

ILL has Garza in foul trouble and has yet to take advantage. Could be a turning point.

Illinois completely wasting this time with Garza on the bench.

And now Iowa is in the bonus for the last 13 minutes.

Franz Wagner trying to throw down a poster while up 16 - could let Purdue back into the game

Jack Nunge tries to throw a poster in a tied game - great move, got the bench fired up!

Never forget, the numbers show that Iowa is better without Garza

Iowa’s best lineup is with Murray at the 4 and Nunge at the 5.
