MSU is playing hard but terrible. Rutgers is just playing terrible.

This is really bad basketball. One team has 10 turnovers already. The other team is 0% at the foul line

Yeah I also prefer the 25 point losses to Minnesota. But I can appreciate a 4 point first half lead where they have more turnovers than made FGs, I’m not picky.

Who hasn’t played from MSU?? Marble and…uh… Geez. I think I counted ten guys so far already. Izzo doing his thing I guess. Maybe the limited preseason messed with his ability to mess around for a month before he settled into a logical rotation.

I can’t tell if MSU is lucky to be up 4 with the 10 turnovers or if Rutgers is lucky to be down only 4 with the “offense” they’re running.

Rutgers is 0/6 from the FT line and 0/5 from 3. If my math is right they’re at .5 PPP. Yet they’re only down 4.

I think it’s more likely that MSU cleans up the turnovers and builds a safe lead than Rutgers figures out how to do anything

Did Pikiell even bother scouting these guys? What’s the gameplan? All they’re doing is isolating Aaron Henry and not getting back in transition.

What happened to Rutgers offense? How were they good earlier this year…just making threes? This is a bunch of hero ball and iso. Gross.

Rutgers looks so bad tonight. I mean, really bad. If this was the only game I’d seen them play this year I’d think they are the second worst team in the league

The worst part is that if they wanna iso, MSU has about 9 guys you can iso! They’re just isolating the one good defender MSU has and the other four guys stand in the same spot on the floor until the shot clock expires.
