Big Ten Basketball 2020-21 Discussion (Part 1)

Hard to see any outcome other than an OSU win at this point.

Yeah this game spiraled out of control pretty fast for
Rutgers.

Michigan about to be the last unbeaten team in the B1G! Not that it means much considering our schedule

Rutgers is not good when Geo Baker becomes a main offensive piece

5 min scoring drought for Rutgers ended with a free throw. Hard to win when you can’t score!

Having had back spasms that were a result of a blow to my lower back/hip when I wasn’t braced for it, I can tell you that a hard fall/shove can absolutely cause spasms. In my case my sacrum shifted a bit, which resulted in a month or so of crazy spasms/back pain that eventually subsided when my sacrum became realigned via physical therapy.

Rutgers as THE frontrunner in the B1G was short lived!

Ohio State is good, even though many here had decided otherwise while Liddel was injured

They are a totally different team without him. The fact he only missed 2 games after having mono is incredible.

I don’t think this game says as much about OSU as it does Rutgers isn’t good when they’re down 3/7 rotation players. Even with Omoruyi Rutgers was running OSU out if their own gym before Johnson foiled out and and Young went down.

I am back to the investigation of Ohio State relationships with refs. It happened last year and it happened in this game. Rutgers got robbed.

Illinois doesn’t even belong on the same floor as Penn State. It’s time to start considering PSU as the frontrunner for the Big Ten title.

I turned on the game right when OSU’s run started so I’ve only seen terrible Rutgers and not 1H good Rutgers with whom OSU didn’t belong on the court. But I’m really surprised based on what I’ve been reading here. Rutgers is a contender? Harper is a potential All American? The latter is especially confusing, understanding the former isn’t as fair to question when the team is depleted. But I’ve seen Harper toss up like four airballs since I turned on the game.

Half of Rutgers is injured or fouled out on BS

I agree here. I think Rutgers is the better team but not when they are down 3 players.

Maybe Rutgers is a little like Michigan last year in that they are good but a little thin if they are missing a few pieces.

Man, these refs are pure garbage. It’s a 13 point game with 20 seconds left and you’re calling that a foul?
