Is there any clues out there as to what’s up with Myreon Jones? PSU had most done ok without him, but got absolutely stifled by Illinois at home - having a second scorer would obviously help them. Once I see a kid has missed over 2 weeks of games with an “illness” I start worrying about long term health.
Did a little more playing this morning and found that MSU can win their game against Iowa next Tuesday so long as Iowa then beats Illinois in Champaign on March 8th. This still results in Michigan winning all tiebreakers and being the #1 seed.

I see this talked about all the time in game threads when we do it, but it looks like the “inexplicably stepping out of bounds” thing isn’t just a Michigan problem.

Definitely common across college hoops. Don’t remember what podcast but I heard someone smarter than me mentioning how often it was going to happen before the season so I’ve noticed it quite a bit.

We were #12 after the Rutgers game. Had to destroy the KenPom spread today just to tread water I guess.

3 really good B1G games today. Indiana and Ohio State winning could make the final two weeks a bit more dramatic for the regular season crown.

And IU up 14 halfway through the first half. Which wouldn’t be as big a deal except that Stevens also has 3 fouls and Myreon Jones is still not playing.
Penn State is 4-11 from the field. Lamar Stevens is 4-8. Only two other PSU players have even taken a shot. This might get ugly is Stevens is on the bench the rest of the half.
EDIT: Stevens only has two now. I didn’t think there was a foul on the play, maybe that was sort of a make-up?

… and they just changed the call so it wasn’t Stevens that gets called for the foul … even though Stevens clearly committed the foul. You will be shocked to learn that a large bald referee was involved.

Indiana is playing like they actually care… they just have a really untalented team. Both teams struggling on offense. Looks like Indiana is finally getting it going though.
Since they lost to Purdue, outside of their game against us IU has been playing pretty damn awesome.
