anyone who snores a lot as a kid or teenage should take a sleeping test
My CPAP is honestly a life-saver; it’s a shame I didn’t take a sleep study until I was in my late 30s.
Bunch of Big Ten guys in here, especially in the second round.
Henry ahead of livers is a real head scratcher to me
Or Henry ahead of Tillman? Or just Henry at 41 in general.
Man I know everyone is high on Aaron Henry’s physical tools, and acknowledge it can’t be easy to seemingly be the favorite target of a rageaholic’s ire…but you’d think Aaron Henry would need to at some point consistently play well in order to be an NBA pick.
Yeah it seems like givony only remembers the NCAA tournament run last year by Henry. IMO he’s the best guy in the business but i think he can be late and off when it comes to the non top tier top 20 guys.
Also Wesson ahead of Oturu and tillman is a real head scratcher to me. Did people forget about how the much better version of of Wesson in jared sullinger was played out of the league and that was when the NBA was even less small ball.
The NBA cares far more about potential than production in college. For better or for worse.
I understand that, and I can see why a prototypical sized 2/3 would good athleticism would be more appealing than a 6’8" center without a three-point shot.
That said, I’d say Henry’s 1.75 years in EL have probably raised as many questions as its answered.
I’ve always been of the opinion that Henry as an NBA prospect was massively overhyped because he got hot and hit a couple mid-range shots in two games (He only had TWO double digit scoring games in the NCAA tournament run that people talk about so much!!!)
The hype and pressure he got was just never justified. There’s a reason he wasn’t a hyped recruit, he wasn’t secretly an elite scorer.
I agree with you 100%, and I think this season is showing his limitations. The big story for their season is that defensively they went from two rock-solid seniors at the 2 and 4 and now have massive question marks there. But another undercurrent is that Winston hasn’t been quite as good in just as large a roll, and in my mind the team really needs a secondary guy to take SOME pressure off of him. That was supposed to be Henry, but it hasn’t happened
Oh what Izzo would do if he had a healthy Langford and an eligible Hauser. Woulda, coulda, shoulda.
I do think that Hauser would have really changed this team…
Agreed. MSU already has way too many forwards, but Hauser sure is a lot different and better than the other ones. His shooting would have helped that offense so much. I don’t see super advanced skillsets from those other forwards yet, whereas Hauser brings a lot to the table.
Oh I agree. They truly would be a top-five team with those two, this season, if Langford were truly healthy.
Agreed. The B10 is lucky that “I’m mad that Markus Howard is a chucker” did not qualify for a transfer waiver.
Haha, I wonder if Sam or Joey ever wake up in a cold sweat, shouting, “HEY MARKUS I’M OPEN!!!”
Just kind of a random thought, but who does everyone think is the favorite to win Big 10 Freshman of the Year? Is Franz a clear frontrunner? I was talking to a friend about this yesterday and unless we are missing someone besides Trayce Jackson-Davis and maybe Rocket Watts, I can’t think of any other freshman who should really be in the discussion for the award come end of the season.
Kofi Cockburn would be my vote. Him and Jackson-Davis would be a tier above all the other candidates if it were up to me
