Looked like a season ender for Ayo there. Hate to see it.
I’m no Doctor, but it really looked like he tore something in his knee. Having done that myself twice, I can’t recommend it.
That looked awful. I’ll be surprised if he isn’t seriously hurt.
I think even I helped on that Winston drive on MSU’s last possession.
Hope Ayo is alright.

Damn I’m sad for Illinois fans. They were gonna be my sleeper final four pick this year. Hope Ayo makes a full speedy recovery.
Illinois could also return Ayo, Cockburn, Frazier, Giorgi and Griffin next year plus add Adam Miller. They’d be nasty
That spot he slipped is right where they sit for timeouts. I get the point of doing that, stay away from the fans/noise, but that almost needs to be outlawed exactly for this reason. That’s a lot of sweat on the court.

Nebraska is one of the worse B1G teams I’ve seen in a long while. Absolutely no size. They could’ve/should’ve beaten both Rutgers and Maryland on the road. Didn’t do neither.
Not sure what this really says about supposed strength of league.
I assume someone is responsible for wiping it up afterwards, but yeah, that’s definitely what happened. Really sucks. I’m hoping it’s not as severe as it looked.
I see people speculating that it was a knee injury but to me it looked like an ankle sprain with the way his foot got bent under his body. Which might give hope that he’s back this season.

I think Dakich knows what he is talking about regarding Fife, Loyer and Izzo. You have to read between the lines, because Dakich is only going to say so much, out of respect for all parties involved. Dakich and Fife are close, I would say good friends, bolstered by there IU ties. Have heard Fife on Dakich’s radio show in the past, and there seemed to be a great deal of kinship going on.

Cassius being whistled twice for push offs and being given a flop warning for falling after taking a jump shot were shocking. Has it taken officials 3.5 years to figure him out?
Whoever was working with Dakich had the line of the night when he laughed and said it looked like Izzo was sprinting to double Kofi on a first half possession.
I know nobody wants to hear this, but the shirt grab play was a different situation from the shirt grab play in our game last week. In our game, the ball was still live when the grab occurred, so the crew could use replay to assess a flagrant 1. In last night’s game, the ball was dead when the grab occurred, so the crew could not use replay to assess a flagrant foul. Karstensen’s explanation to Dakich was poorly worded.
