Jones makes a world of difference. Without him they are same mediocre old Penn State. With him they are legitimately a solid team.
Made shots cure all ills.
Yup. He’s their second best player and by far their best shooter. It changes the game for them
Come on Maryland. Clinch this thing so you can take it easy next game, no reason to strain yourself.
Lol comical start to the second half for PSU. MSU outscoring them 20-3 [edit: it got up to 24-3]
Sorry for my potty mouth, but what the absolute f*ck…
I think Izzo and Cassius are not getting along.
Izzo is a big baby
Everyone be prepared for every analyst to have MSU in their final four.
Meanwhile, Rutgers is shooting 60% from 3, as predicted.
Most will disagree but to be honest I hope we get MSU in the Big Ten Tourney. I love having the opportunity to beat them while they seem to be at their best. Plus gives Xavier one last chance to even his head to head matchup record against Cassius. We have as good of a chance as anyone in the Big Ten to beat them in my opinion, so why not want one more shot at them?
It’s like clockwork every year! Usually the years that they actually make a run are the years that they aren’t the trendy pick
So why was Izzo so mad while being on a 20-3 run?
I pull for UM - MSU to play each other 4 times every season.
Xavier Tillman is going to make some nice coin as a pro.
What coach wouldn’t want him on their team? Consummate teammate. Does all the little things that help you win.
PSU is experimenting with an avant garde, post-modern brand of baksetball in which the concept of the “rebound” is non-existent. It’s fascinating and terrifying.
Also the concept of “defense.”
Hold that thought… PSU on a 7-0 run after forcing a 10-second call.
This season has been so twilight zone. Awesome yet disquieting but mostly awesome.
It’s somehow more fun when the team I am rooting for hits a freakishly lucky bank shot from deep. Who’dve thunk?
