There are going to be some titanic instate battles for these top kids going forward. If I remember correctly Denzel committed to MSU as soon as they offered, summer after his soph year of HS. They hadn’t shown any real sincere interest originally, but it was always a foregone conclusion he was going there if State ever offered. He has turned out to be a very serviceable player, but these kids we’re referencing now are of much higher profile and will all probably end up as top 25s. Sure would like to think we have an edge with Tillman, like State did with Valentine.

I guess the question I have is why a top 40 player from Indiana was choosing between Illinois and UNLV at the end of the day.

I like UM 2nd this year and a huge 2016 class could mean a big year then but 2015 has the potential to be a down year that could snowball.
