There was a point near the end of the game when Jace got up off the bench and approached his father (who was standing along the sideline). I couldn’t tell if Juwan called him over or if Jace did it on his own. I was expecting Jace to go into the game at the next whistle. Instead, Jace sat down and seconds later, Nunez’ name was called and Adrien entered the game. It was pretty clear what had just happened. Jace Howard is one helluva teammate.
