Right I think that goes with what I was saying. “Talent that’s up there with anyone besides the US” and I compared them to Spain that had the Gasol bros
He’s not as good as either of those guys, yet

Wasn’t trying to disagree! Just emphasize. Guy is a baller.
French basketball also has a long history of disfunction!
Their starting backcourt is a guy who just DNP-CD’d two NBA seasons and the 4th guard on Monaco
Pau and Marc were much better at their peak than Franz and Mo.
There’s some sauce here that I think is a little more interesting than y’all are giving credit.
Special stuff from Dennis and Franz today. Their team fits so well
Borderline all-star isn’t average imo. He’s really good. Wasn’t a coincidence the poverty Magic were a 4 seed
Wouldn’t not having a PG mean that you wouldn’t take their pros over Germany, which has a pro PG?
My takeaway is that Mo Wagner is the Wemby stopper!
Dk what to tell you. He’s exactly average for his career in TS on OK usage. NBA watchers aren’t like “wow it’s the next Paul George”.
I mean, I think in a vacuum Gobert, Wembayana, Batum are better players than the Wagners and Schroeder. If we’re taking the NBA guys who don’t play, Fournier is probably better than Theis.
I’d definitely take the Germans as a cohesive hole, as they don’t duplicate positions, which France’s 2 best players do.
I don’t think your math really tracks. If he’s a starter on the Magic that makes him a top 5/15 players on Magic (4-seed in East) by logic that’d make him a top 1/3 player in the nba at worst if we expand out. Even if he’s better than some starters and worse than some bench pieces I don’t see how he can be considered an average NBA player
Right it’s pretty obvious that in a vacuum you’d look at a team that had to think hard about rostering Killian Hayes and not wonder where the hole in their roster might be. And how cavernous that hole might be.
It’s really easy to win a lot of games with depth in the regular season in the NBA.
off the top of my head, the following NBA forwards who are clearly just not straight 4’s are better than Franz
Lebron
Kawhi
George
Tatum
Brown
Butler
I’d bucket him with Mikal Bridges, Scotty Barnes…so like 7th to 9th?
Above average starter!
a michigan man would never laugh at something so sophomoric
but luckily i didn’t go to michigan
I’ve never been so proud of a typo!
No Patrick Williams?
Now you’re just trolling Colin
