This Atlanta defense isn’t even remotely good enough to put two on the ball this consistently.
Derozan hit a few tough middies in the first. Snyder switched to a soft trap on almost every Derozan screen. Now Coby White has 40. And they’re still doing it.
Everything about Atlanta is grotesque. All time bad vibes.

I wanted to use the term go to h-e-double hockey sticks ball to describe Atlanta’s offense but had to amend.
Only passes are in 2 man game with a big or as a bail out on a going nowhere drive when absolutely necessary.
It is often as if Trae and Dejounte still haven’t met

White-Caruso-Ayo is a good/cheap guard rotation.
It’s good value
Ideally Coby is your second best guard and Ayo/Alex are quality bench guys

Aw I like Pat. Guy has had rough injury luck playing for a franchise and an owner that always seems to have rough injury luck.
Caruso is a very worthy starter even if his game is extremely unusual. Coby I think is a classic 3rd guard rn, tho he may keep getting better. I don’t think we really know what rate he’s actually gonna make the ball go in the hoop at this point. Lotta examples of guys who got silly contracts bc that’s a hard problem.

My prediction for the Finals matchup are Nuggets vs the Celtics. The Nuggets seem inevitable and the starting 5 are great. Nobody is stopping Joker from putting up triple doubles or near triple doubles.
The Eastern Conference is doo-doo. Bucks is without Giannis in the first couple of games at least. Knicks doesn’t have Randle, Philly will choke because Embiid performs below his usual regular season level and there are a lot of meh teams in the conference. It also wouldn’t surprise me if the Heat somehow bs their way into the Finals bc that’s how it works with them.
