It’s just another year, and another BTT where Michigan has work to do to get in the big dance. I will not deprive myself of the joy I felt when Kam Chatman hit the buzzer beater against Indiana to send Michigan dancing or the excitement of beating Purdue in OT to punch our ticket (not knowing we would go on to win the whole thing). I’ll be carving out time to take a midday lunch break yet again to watch and hope for the same results.
At the 10 min mark when Indiana started to make their comeback, I decided to go outside give my sons some batting practice. Felt good to not agonize over what was going on, but of course I came back inside during the final minute and immediately got my emotional claws hooked in once i realized the game was right there for the taking. I really hate caring so much sometimes.
