Not a big “advanced stats” guy: Does Caleb McConnell normally not shoot 8-9 from the field in most halves?

Avery Johnson is a tough listen.

I voted “yes”.

Btw, the last time Caleb McConnell scored 18 points in a GAME was January 3. January 3, 2020.

I believe Dayton is Caleb’s hometown. Nice for him to come out on fire!

Caleb’s built for the tournament. Double-double against Clemson last year. (Wait, is the ACC just bad?)

Zero confidence we hold this lead unless Pikiell’s halftime “how to defend a pick and roll” lesson takes.

May I suggest some halftime teach tape?

I mean Fran did win a Big Ten Tournament Championship so technically he did build a championship level defense

Oh we love those videos. I can think of 0-78 reasons why this a joke.

Michigan genuinely deserves credit for Pump It Up, right? Did anybody really play that at major sporting events prior to Michigan this year?

I read that one of our football players discovered the song over the summer and our stadium guy heard from him - although I suppose some other venue might have been playing it before.

Hi voice does not translate well to commentary! Like nails on a chalkboard

IIRC some guy on Reddit told me that technically some small program like Vanderbilt played it first. But they are stinky little losers so I don’t care

I think it was Cinci but not 100% on that

I hate to say this about an NYC guy, but Hyatt is having a seriously negative impact on Rutgers’ chances tonight. He’s made awful decisions and been absolutely terrible.

Danger time for Rutgers

3 points down?

:dark_sunglasses: no problem, rutgers thrives in these situations

Geo giveth and taketh but mostly giveth. Or maybe it’s taketh. I, like Geo, am not sure which is the bad one in this case.

O/U .5 passes by Geo the rest of the way
