I’m excited about our game against Houston, I think we can beat them. Use the same lineup that worked so well against nova, Johns, Moose, Hunter all hunting for rebounds. We’ve got this.

I guess my hot take is Duke winning doesn’t bother me nearly as much as it does most people. Like I don’t know many Duke fans IRL, I avoid most main stream media coverage (or ESPN loving K), and their online presence isn’t as bad for me as other schools. I’d be more annoyed honestly with a school like Arkansas, who have annoying fans and are in a similar situation to us (3rd year HC at a good basketball school but a tier below the blue bloods).

One of my closer friends is a Duke grad. He’s a casual bball supporter so there’s nothing there that would cause me to resent them. I just don’t like the idea of Duke more than I hate the current reality of Duke. tbh My hate for Duke has been replaced by my hate for the Zags.

Starts with recruiting NBA talent type. It’s pretty simple. Michigan has had a bunch of players drafted in the NBA and NBA talent usually wins out more times than not over the long run plus Michigan never really had a true homecourt advantage compared to the rest of the B1G.
Yes, Wisconsin and Iowa had Garza, Murray, Davis but you need more than just one NBA caliber player on the roster.

They look like the impressive team, by far. The only thing that can stop them is the refs.
I will root for Duke this tournament because the guys seem more tolerable than normal as I said earlier but also their black game shorts are iconic are easily top 3 all time for me.

There are six other teams. Doesn’t have to be Duke or Kansas. Coach K’s year long tribute has already been annoying, but if he wins the title in his final year for the “storybook ending” it will be insufferable. You can’t separate K from Duke whether you like the current players or not.
