Just messing. But I think that him dropping 4% over 90 games isn’t likely a huge sign. Could be chalked up to getting used to the new ball or something idk

Yeah wow JP really does have some defensive stuff to figure out. He def can since he’s still quite young. He should be learning from Steph about that end as much as he is on offense

Feels like Poole has more points than he does. Every time I look up he’s scoring in some slippery way.

Think Dallas will make more 3’s than they have tonight but they really haven’t gotten a ton of open looks and Looney + Draymond + Wiggins + Porter has been enough length at the rim so far.
OTOH JP has given them so many fouls for no reason. If he wants to be on the court he needs to slide his feet.
So when is genius coach Jason Kidd going to employ the strategy of putting “playoff length” on Poole?

I read this thread before checking the game, wondering Poole must be really stinking it up. I turn on the game and apparently he has 17 pts on 8-11 FGs.

I have come around on Sam Mendes, at least as a stylist, after seeing Skyfall. Really thought I hated that guy for a while.

Dallas may have the best player in the series, but the GSW has the next 5 spots on the lockdown IMO and that’s a problem for Dallas. Plus, GSW can take advantage of Dallas defense that aren’t all that good because they move and cut so hard instead of doing the PnR which can be easy to scheme against in a 7 game series. I can see the series going similar to GSW vs Denver series where GSW pretty much ran them off the court. Luka will get his but the supporting cast will be one of the big reason why Dallas can’t move onto the Finals.

fair enough. He has to be become a better defender, no doubt. I never thought I’d say this but if you look at Wiggins, you’re getting a guy that produces almost as many points and plays great defense. But I think Poole has been getting better on that end he’s still pretty young.

Really? I love Steph and you can’t argue with his career as a whole, but right in this moment I think Luka is one of the top 5 players in the league. I just agree with the poster who said that GSW has the next five best players on their team.

It’s debatable between Steph and Luka as the best player in the series. Steph’s impact in the 2nd half is why he’s so dangerous.
