I feel like he’s been pretty good?
I think he’s been in constant foul trouble and inefficient — kind of floating outside on offense. Maybe I’m looking for too much, but honestly I am rooting for him. Just haven’t seen a potential all star, which is what I expected and his draft position seemed to promise.
Fout trouble is JJJ’s call to fame lol But he’s so incredibly talented with so much untapped potential.
Easy to forget he’s only 22.
Still can’t believe Izzo had Jaren Jackson Jr., Miles Bridges, and Cassius Winston on the same team and yet the best he could achieve was two exits in the round of 32.
And got swept by Michigan that year
So I’m unironically rooting for the Warriors this playoffs because I want to see Poole win a Finals MVP lol
What he did to JA was real dirty.
What he did to Ja was really nothing.
Lol are you joking?
No you don’t grab another players knee when he isn’t properly balanced. Why was he grabbing his knee?
Come on man. He’s pressing and trying to go for the ball. You think in that situation JP’s thinking about grabbing and turning his knee?

Going for the ball??
He didn’t even get hurt on that play. He got hurt earlier banging knees with Klay on defense.
And yes going for the ball, he had deflected it just before that. And that would not have hurt anyone even if he tried, which he clearly wasn’t
When you clip something up into that short a time or slow it down it’s gonna be a lot easier to put intent on someone than when you just watch the whole play
Well ok then
Unfortunately, one of the best players in the league got hurt and Poole clearly grabbed his knee. National media already talking about it. I don’t think it was intentional, but it wasn’t good. Hope Ja is ok.
Only thing I’ve seen is people taking about Ja talking about it. I haven’t really seen anyone outside of Grizzlies fans say JP did anything wrong
To me, it looks like JP was trying to sneak in a grab on his leg to slow him up so someone else can get a swipe on the ball. Doesn’t look like he’s really extending enough to say he was actually going for the ball. Don’t think grabbing the knee specifically was intentional, but was probably a lightly dirty extra-curricular to gain an advantage.
There’s a post on ESPN about how Poole didn’t mean any I’ll intent.
Interesting Poole/Curry action…
What is the value of the do-see-do arm hold? My kid is taking physics so maybe it has something to do w angular momentum, but that ain’t my sweet spot.
