If it’s not a mistake, actually kind of stunned. I can’t imagine he’s gotten any sort of promise that would basically lead to him deciding to pass on the Combine (even though his testing would probably not be very good).
Would have to think him turning down a combine invite would be an indicator that he’s returning, not entering the draft.
Have there been reports from anyone in the know of otherwise?

I would say the opposite. Seems like you would want to go to the combine for a chance to break out, win win situation. More so seems like he knows he’ll test bad and wants to avoid that

Not necessarily - he entered the draft for a reason. I would bet he is puttin himself in the best position to showcase himself. Shooting in an open gym instead of doing vert testing, shuttle runs etc. He is a specialist and just needs to show that

FWIW, I asked some of the Field of 68 guys I work for and they said “I heard he’s gone” so I don’t get it.
Houstan seems like he could only help his stock with a lights out shooting performance at the combine

I had heard earlier today he was unlikely to be participating, but it wasn’t my news to share (and I wasn’t positive). Bothers me when people continue to report things incorrectly.
